So I got this idea when Emma and I were talking about when the fight accorded between Jason and Karen a couple of year back. I remember talking about this with a few friends of mine and i thought i would write about it. so here it goes. This is from the side we never really get to hear about! Some of this happened some didn't Hope you like it :)
A Minor Twist that everyone wanted to see happen
As I stood beside Jayne and listened to what the judges were saying about Johnson. Once they said everything they needed to say Holly moved over to Karen. She looked lovely in her black dress, with black glittery sleeves. She looked breath taking, Karen had tears in her eyes as she felt that Johnson didn't get the scores that he deserves! He didn't in my case! I got lost in what was being said as I couldn't help but think about what was going to be asked here, until i heard 'Well if your opinion still mattered, you'd still be on the panel' WHAT! I look over to see Karen getting out of her seat, oh this can't be good. What the hell was Jason thinking! What an Idiot! of course her opinion still mattered! That's why she is still on the show and Slater isn't. I want to skate over there right now and punch him! 'You know what Jason, you bring so little to the panel you really do!' Thats my girl! Karen goes and sits back down, and Phillip takes us to a break. Once at the break instead of going into the ack room where we normally do, i decided to follow Karen who had walk off the set..
I find Karen out back with a cup of tea in her hand. 'Want something stronger?' 'He really pushes my buttons!' I say nothing but pull her into a tight hug and just let her let it out. '1 minute' told. I wipe her eyes, luckily she has waterproof mascara on and she doesn't look like a panda. I take her head in my hands and kiss her forehead and then kiss her. 'You'll be fine Kaz! ill see you afterwards in the break.'
We go back to the show, the VT for the Sam comes on and I run and sit next to Jayne. 'How is she?' Jayne asks looking at Karen. 'She'll be okay.'
As Sam and Brianne came out onto the ice, they preformed the routine very well I thought. As it came to the judges, Robin 8.5, Emma 8.5, Jason 5. WHAT! Holly went to Robin, 'It was a good clean performance, and very well exacted, Little nervous on one of the lifts but otherwise very good' Then Emma ' I loved it! very nice, you'd got a strong partnership with your partner. I love your dance moves and this choreography was perfect for you' I agree totally with Emma and Robin. Lets see what Jason as to say! 'Well Sam, I totally disagree with Emma, The dance moves were not executed to your ability, the song did not go with the music at all, and to be frank, you and your partner cannot work together, you look really scared by the fact that you will probably drop her! You cannot preform this and the choreography is terrible, i feel you should fire your Choreographer, it was absolutely horrid' WHAT!
'You know what Jason, you know nothing! You may have the title a choreographer, but you know absolutely nothing. The choreography was suit perfectly for Sam and Brianne' I cannot believe i have just blurted that out, Live on air too!
'Well Christopher i actually do! and you're only having a go at me because your girlfriend was upset at my comment i made to her earlier' I feel Jayne pull my arm back, as to say leave it, but nope i cant! 'You had a go at my girlfriend yes! Was she upset, YES, am I annoyed? YES! You have no right to criticise Karen! SHes on this show because we wanted her, and You have no clue how much she actually does for this show! so shut it Gardiner' Phillip must have had the producer or director shouting in his ear as he stepped in. 'And after this break we will be seeing more contests skate to win your vote!' With that Jayne pulls me off into the backstage room behind the stage, to calm down and to just relax and think about the show.
After the break Jason said nothing more about how "terrible" the choreography was and I said nothing more about Jason's comments. That was the end of it. Thank goodness. After the show, I quickly popped through to the VIP bar to see my mother then went to wine club to calm down. after talking we all went home and i went to sleep cuddled into my girl!
