I didn't know what to do. My phone kept on ringing and ringing all night. I just ignored it and hoped it would end soon. Chris was being really supportive. For most of the evening I just sat snuggled up next to him crying on and off. I kept on declining the call. Suddenly 2 messages came through on my phone. One was from Dan and the other from Nicky.
Nicky's read: Hey babe give me a call xx
I deleted the message straight away I mean when would he get the message! I went straight onto the text from Dan
Dan: Hey Kaz Jayne told me bout what happened. R u ok? I really could just smash his face in xx
I smiled. Dan and Chris were very alike really. They were both very protective. I quickly texted back
Hey Dan glad Jayne told u h8 keeping secrets. Am feeling a bit rough but Chris has been gr8. With regards to smashing his face in don't do anything rash, he's rlly not worth it xx
A few seconds after I had sent the message I got a reply back
Dan: Haha, C u tomoz then xx
If Nicky thought he could destroy myn and Chris's relationship that easily he has another think coming.
The next day I was finally allowed to skate again which automatically brightened my mood. When we arrived at the Studio we met Jayne and began the days work. The first couple we had to teach a routine to was Beth and Dan. We did a warm up on the ice, however Chris and I were not paying much attention. We were just stood in the middle of the rink and things had started to heat up. I had my arms around his neck and Chris had his hands around my waist. He was kissing me passionately and for a moment I think we both forgot where we were... We were brought back to Earth with an unpleasant bump as the Studio door opened and Nicky walked in...
Me and Chris reluctantly let go of each other and I saw Chris and Dans hands clench into fists. Jayne skated over to me and put an arm around my shoulders.
"What do you want!?" Dan said aggressively
"None of YOUR business!" Nicky replied harshly
"Bog Off Nicky!" I added in.
"You don't mean that Kaz." He said turning to face me
"Oh yes she does!" Jayne retorted.
"Just leave Nicky!" I said in tears
"Make me!" He replied
Dan and Chris took this last comment literally as they both skated of the ice and advanced towards him. I skated off after them and held Chris's hand Jayne followed me.
"You leave me and my Girl alone!" Chris said grabbing Nicky by the neck of his shirt."
Me and Jayne just froze to the spot as Dan walked towards them and punched Nicky square on in the Jaw.

The last words Nicky said kept on playing on my mind. I couldn't concentrate with anything. I knew well when Nicky made a vow that he would stick to it. I skated over to Chris and hugged him tightly.
"Thank You baby." I said drying my eyes.
"Anything for my Karen." He said stroking my hair
Dan and Jayne came over to join usl.
"Thanks Dan." I said with a smile turning round to look at him
"Its fine Kaz, Its exactly what he deserved." Dan replied
"And you too Jayne." I added
"Aw its no problem Hun." Jayne responded
We finished working at exactly 11:00pm so it had been a long day for us all. Me Chris Jayne and Dan decided we might aswell stay at the Studios for the night considering we would have to be back tomorrow anyway. Before Me and Chris retreated to bed I was greeted with some very sad news about Dan's mother. She'd passed away 10 minutes ago.
"Dan honey!" I said hugging him. I was the only one he had told. We were very close.
"What am I going to do?" He said on the verge of tears.
I sat down next to him in his dressing room and said
"When the sky's are looking bad my Dear and your hearts lost all its hope, After dawn there will be sunshine and all the dust will go. The skies will clear my Darling but now its time to let her go. And in the morning I'll make you up, some Tea and Toast."
Dan looked up at me as tears fell down his cheeks.
"Who taught you that?" He questioned
"It was what my Father said when my Mother passed away." I said putting my arm around him.
"Its really sweet." Dan said with a watery smile.
We just sat there in silence for a minute lost in our thoughts.
"Thanks Kaz." he said
"Hey, its no problem thats what friends are for." I said smiling
"Night."
"Night Dan."
A few minutes later I was back in my dressing room snuggled up under the covers next to Chris. We were both just hoping that Nicky didn't show up again tomorrow or even better, at all! We just lay there talking and laughing like teenagers when we distinctly heard a loud bang....

I tensed up completely. Chris sat up and put his arm protectively around me and grabbed his skates as some sort of weapon. I could still hear the bangs, my heart was racing. There was a knock at the door
"Kaz, pst, Kaz Its us... Jayne and Dan, Open the door, someones downstairs."
Me and Chris walked hand in hand to the door and opened it a fraction. There stood Jayne and Dan in Pyjamas looking terrified. I pulled the remainder of the door open and hurried them in before locking and bolting the door. We all sat down on my bed in a hurry. I grabbed hold of Jayne's hand and we both looked at eachother scared for our lives.
"I'll go and see what's going on." Chris said bravely picking up a heavy metal pole and advancing to the door.
"No Chris!" I said as I began to cry.
Chris walked back over to me and held me close in his arms.
"Don't worry Babe, I'll be fine." He reassured me
"I'll go too Chris." Dan chipped in.
I gave Dan a warm hug and kissed Chris passionately before both men left the room. I got back up and re-locked and bolted the door before sitting back on the bed again. Jayne took hold of my hand again, we got under the covers, and both tried to make as little noise as humanly possible. A few times the bangs stopped and I was sure I could hear footsteps advancing. Maybe it was Dan and Chris? But somehow I highly doubted it was them.
"I'm scared Jayne." I whispered. Normally Jayne being the older one could find a way to reassure me however this time was different.
"Me too Kaz." Jayne said quietly.
The bonus about my room was that it had no windows as it was basically in the middle of nowhere meaning at least no-one could get in that way. I couldn't bare it. I couldn't stop worrying about Chris and Dan, Dan was like a brother to me and I would kill myself if anything happened to him and Chris, well Chris was my lover, my other half, my life...
"I can't stand waiting Jayne, lets see what's going on." I said grabbing two Jackets from my wardrobe putting one on and handing the other to Jayne.
"Ok, I can't stand it either, Waiting like this." Jayne said putting on my Jacket.
I grabbed a heavy bag to use as a weapon incase I unlocked the door and held Jayne's hand, we were both shaking. We snuck quietly along the corridors, being careful to miss out squeaking floorboards, before we heard where the voices were coming from. It was on rinkside! We both walked in the shadows onto the rink hoping our arrival would be unnoticed and we stopped and looked around the corner.
Chris and Dan were shouting at a man and as I looked closer through the gloom I noticed the man was Nicky. I couldn't hold on any longer, dragging Jayne with me into the light I shouted
"Nicky Slater how dare you!" All heads turned to face me.
"Nice to see you too pretty." Nicky said.
He advanced towards me when Chris shouted
"Touch her and you're dead meat Slater!"
"Ooh I'm so scared." Nicky responded sarcastically.
He continued walking towards me. My heart was beating fast.
He pushed me roughly against the wall and I could feel bruises forming around my stomach.
"Ouch Nicky, No!" I screamed as he tried to kiss me.
Dan and Chris ran forwards and hauled him off me and Jayne ran over and gave me a hug. I didn't know what happened next. All I remember was someone grabbing me and forcing me hard to the ground before hearing running footsteps, screaming and cursing...
I woke up in my dressing room lying spread out on the bed. Jayne Chris and Dan were sat around me all looking shocked. Chris had clearly suffered a nosebleed from the nights going on and Dan was clearly developing a black eye.
"Chris, Jayne, Dan... Where is he, what happened? I said
"Nicky tried to grab you and you fell, You've been unconscious for 30 minutes." Dan said soothingly as Chris helped me sit up.
"You ok?" Jayne said, she had clearly been crying.
"For one moment we all thought we had lost you." Chris said gently picking me up and kissing me on the lips.
"But you're a tough old bird." Dan said with a smile
"Oi Mr, less of the old!" I said with a laugh.
"She's back Chris said laughing aswell.
That night we all slept in my dressing room with the door locked and bolted first we cleaned up all our injuries as best as we could before attempting to sleep . As no-one knew where Nicky went he could still be somewhere in the Studio. I was on the bed with Chris, Jayne was on the sofa and Dan insisted he should be the one who had to sleep on the floor.
We did hear a few more bangs that startled me most of all. All of this proved Nicky must still be somewhere In the Studio....

I was lying in Chris's arms all night. I was scared. It had just turned 5:00AM when I heard a funny noise
"Chris babey, did you hear that?" I questioned referring to what must of been the loudest bang of the night.
"Yeah honey. Are you ok? He asked as I turned to face me and pulled me in close.
"No I'm terrified." I said cuddling in closer to Chris.
"I love you." He whispered.
Before I had chance to answer There was a knock at the door
I froze for a second, before taking hold of Chris's hand and waking Jayne and Dan.
"W...What's Going on? Jayne said trying not to yawn really loudly.
"Its like 5:00AM." Dan protested in a whisper
"It think its Nicky, he's at the door forcing his way through!" I explained in a low voice.
They both looked at me to show they understood and I continued to hang on to Chris's hand as I routed for the key to the adjoining dressing room. My dressing room had a door attached to it that lead to Jaynes dressing room. We always used to hide between the two when we were feeling scared and we decided we'd go there and get out of the only window. Luckily I didn't have much in my dressing room as I moved it into my house when Chris moved in so there was nothing valuable for Nicky to take.
I unlocked the door and we scrambled through. I tried to force open the window but it was locked. At that moment I heard the dressing room door smash open and silhouette was visible from the open door.
"So this is cosy." Nicky said harshly
He walked towards me and grabbed me by the wrists so I couldn't move. Dan Jayne and Chris tried to step in and help however he was just too strong.
"I know you love me." Nicky said looking me in the eyes.
He had managed to lock the door on the adjoining room and shut Chris Dan and Jayne in. It was just me and him.
One of his hands moved away from my wrists leaving red marks. I knew his aim was to hurt me. He pushed me over hard. A few minutes later the door flew open again but this time it was the Police. It seemed that Chris had rang them on his mobile. They carted Nicky off straight away and Chris Dan and Jayne crouched down next to me.
"Karen, Karen darling." Chris said gently helping me up.
"Are you ok?" Jayne asked.
"Happier now Nicky's out of my life." I said
"Aren't we all." Dan agreed
We went to bed for the third time that night and treated ourselves to a lie in the next morning. When we woke we decided to cancel training and have a lazy day. We all stayed in my dressing room talking, laughing and just having fun. All of our injuries were healing if not healed so the day was pleasant. Me and Chris couldn't keep our hands off each other and Dan and Jayne found this highly amusing. It was the perfect end to a dreadful few days.
You will b glad 2 hear Nicky has disappeared for GOOD! Which means more KnC which is a good thing xxx ;)
