Dancing on Ice Fanfiction

For months Karen's marriage had been falling apart infact it actaully started to change when they started the first series of Dancing on Ice, Karen had found living with Stephen after 21 years was more like living with her brother rather than a husband and her feelings for her best friend had changed she had tried to get these feelings out of her but just couldn't no matter what she did they just wouldn't go away an the feelings were getting stronger and it was causing problems in her marraige too. "So who is it then?" "what the hell are you going on about" "you know what I'm going on about... I'm not stupid you know I can tell that there is someone else... you don't talk to me anymore and won't let me kiss you or anything" "there is no one I swear ... there's just feelings there that I can't let go of" "what do you mean you have feelings for someone? ... you going to tell me who then?" "no ... I can't ... just stop it will you" "no I want to know answers if my wife is having a affair with someone I think I have the right to know" "I'm not having an affair with anyone ..." "I've got to go now the taxi will be here any minute now ... and I'm warning you I had better not come back to find you in bed with another bloke."

Karen stood in the middle of the kitchen nearly in tears the last thing she wanted was for her and Stephen to have an argument before he went away for the week even though she didn't love him like she used to there was still feelings in there for him, she waited a few minutes then locked up downstairs before grabbing her phone and heading up to bed. She lay in the bed just looking up at the walls for hours not knowing what to do and tried to get rid of the feelings for this other person and knew that she couldn't have this other person as he was happily married. After hours of crying herself to sleep Karen managed to get to sleep for the next 3 hours before her alarm went off at 6:30am, she woke with a headache and sore eyes from all the crying so got up put her dressing gown on and went down to the kitchen to get something for her headache but there wasn't any.

There was ringing in her head and it wouldn't go away just like the feelings she had once she'd drank her morning coffee it was time to get ready for work throwing on her tracky bottoms a tight fitting tshirt revealing a little cleavage and uggs quickly applying some make up before picking her bag and skates up and leaving the house. Karen was planning on popping into the shop on the way to get something for her head but there wasn't time as she was already 5 minutes late. 10 Minutes late for work Karen walked in slowly with her head down sat down on the bench put her bag on the floor and began to undo her skates to put on but she just broke down in tears. Jayne and Chris were already starting on the ice with the first celeberity of the week Laura with partner Colin, Chris noticed Karen first and told Jayne he would go and sort her out as he had more sympthy than Jayne ever did and was better at sorting out situations.

He sat down next to Karen putting an arm around her shoulder and pulling her closer to him as she continued to cry her eyes out "what's the matter? ... do you want to talk in my office" "please" she replied quietly Chris tapped her arm gently and they got up and Karen followed him to his office. "So what's going on then?" "we had a row last night just before he went away ... he thinks I'm having an affair ... I'm not I promise you I'm not ... I lay awake most of the night thinking about it and woke up this morning with a terrible headache ... don't have anything for it either I was gunna get something on the way in but was already late enough" "come here" Chris wrapped his arms around her tightly again "why does he think that" "because I said I had feelings for someone else ... but nothing has happened I promise" "it's ok I believe you ... Jayne has some paracetamol in her bag I think why don't you go get some from her pull yourself together and come join us on the ice" "thank you."

"Is that better?" "yes thank you Jayne ... you will sort things out between you and Stephen" "I told her if that was ok sorry" "its ok." The day went by quickly and everyone had headed off home Karen had picked up some fish and chips on the way home for dinner and a bottle of wine from the local co op. When Karen had got in it was very quiet as Emma was at uni, Stephen had gone away for the week and Laura had gone with him she turned the TV on and sat down on the sofa ate her dinner with a small glass of wine. An hour later and Karen just for no reson just burst into tears again she felt so lonely wishing she had someone there to cuddle her just then her phone went off she had got a text from Chris: How's your head now are you ok? you need anything just pick up the phone. Karen replied with: It's ok now but can you come over please I need a cuddle xxx.

Chris drove over to Karen as quickly as he could luckily she only lived 20 minutes away from him he knocked on the door and was greeted by Karen wearing a red silky night gown that came a couple of inches above her knee and not much under it he felt slightly awkard but it didn't stop his eyes wondering her body and his mind wondering what she was wearing underneath the gown. "Come in ... I'll get you some wine" "no it's fine I'll just have a cup of tea ... one of us needs to stay sober" "what you trying to say" "nothing..." he went and sat down in the living room Karen had drawn the curtains, turned the tv off and dimed the lights and puffed the cushions up on the sofa. Karen put Chris's tea on the table and refilled her glass with more wine then sat down next to Chris and he wrapped an arm around her again "so whats this all about then ... what's the urgancy for this cuddle, they spoke for a while and Chris listened to everything she was saying "and these feelings I've been having they ... I love you Chris ... I really do" Chris was taken by suprise at what she was saying "Karen really are you sure" "yes ... I've had these feelings for you for years now and my marriage I think I can say is coming too an end if not has ended" she sat up on her knees and faced Chris then placed a soft kiss on his lips slipping her tounge into his mouth and he allow her to explore before kissing her back.

The kiss lasted about 5 minutes before Chris pulled away "Karen we shouldn't we are both married" "but I don't have a marriage anymore do I" there was nothing said for a while Karen just lay with her head on Chris's chest and he played with her hair comforting her. A little while later Karen stood up took Chris's hand and pulled him up taking him in the direction she was going "where we going?" "upstairs" "no Karen ... just no" "yes ... please come with me ... I love you" "I love you too ... but I don't think we should be doing this" "well I do" just then Karen dropped her silky night gown leaving her standing there half way up the stairs in just red silk underwear "Karennn..." "I know you can't restist me" "you do know how to get a man into bed with you don't ya" "I said you wouldn't be able to refuse my offer." He followed her up the stairs and they began playing their games and making passionate love for the next hour "I've got to go now babe ... I love you" "why?" "I've got to get back to my wife" "well stephen is away all week as you know so lets do this again ... we could make a day of it on Wednesay when we have our day off" "I don't see why not ... right I've got to go now or people will get suspiciuos ... love you" and he kissed her on the lips and she watched out the bedroom window as he drove away.

*The next day* Karen got up a little earlier before her alarm at 6:30am as she took time to make extra effort in what she wore and her make up and before 8 she was out of the house and at the studios just waiting for Jayne and Chris to arrive. It wasn't long before Chris arrived and he sat down on the bench to put his skates on but found himself lost in a land of his own just staring at Karen as she skated round the rink she was so pretty and such a stunning woman he knew she was who he wanted to be with but he was still married that was the only problem. "Hello... how you this morning?" "well I think you wore me out last night you know ... as soon as I got in I feel asleep on the sofa" he replied cheekily "did you enjoy yourself?" he added on "yes thank you ... I haven't felt that loved in years ... seriously thank you ... were's Jayne today?" "oh she's not feeling well ... so that means we could go to my dressing room at lunch if you want" "that sounds like a very good idea... can we send them all off to an early lunch then I'm thinking 11 time... I don't think I could wait any longer" "I supose ... come here quickly" he pulled her into him and moved towards her mouth "what if someone see's" "theres no one here at the moment we still have 15 minutes before they all start ariving" they kissed passionatly for a few minutes then broke away when they heard the door open. 

"Hello ... where's Jayne" Dan asked one of the pro skaters "she's not well today ... its just myself and Karen today and we are giving you an early lunch at 11 aswell" they all cheered childishly at that and as soon as they all had the skates on they were on the ice and and starting work on the group routine, Karen was partnering Chris today as there was no Jayne neither them mind though and Chris was getting very distracted by the amount of clevage that was being revealed from her top and the fact that the leggings she had on were very see through. At 9:00am all the pro skaters had a break for a few moments while Karen and Chris remained standing on the ice but rather closely "you done that on purpose didn't you?" he whispered into her ear "done what?" "well at one point I thought you was going to fall out of your top and I could see right through those leggings" "oh that... what make you think that" she answered flitatiously "well I didn't think I'd be coming to skate a whole routine with you ... but I did enjoy it" "so did I ... anyway I can't help it I'm so attractive that you can't keep your eyes off me."

*Hour later* they had let them go just before 11 "right you all need to be back here at 12:30" "ok" they all replied in unison they waited a few minutes till they had all gone out before heading to Chris's dressng room. He walked behind holding Karen's waist then started tickeling her and chasing her down the cooridoor when they reached his dressing room they practically feel through the door hands all over each other. Closing the door behind them Chris pressed Karen up against the wall kissing all over her body then picking her up and moving her over to the bed, just as they were getting started the door handel turned and Jayne stood there is shock and disgust as she watched Chris staddel over Karen and Karen's arms around his neck kissing each other passionatley luckily they were still dressed just about. "What the hell is going on here" Jayne didn't know what to think "oh my God I'm sorry ..." "is that all you can bloody say sorry ... you're my best friend ... well was unti; just now and I walk in to see you getting cosy with my husband" "Jayne please ... you wasn't meant to find out ... It wasn't meant to happen like this ... I was just upset ... my marriage is falling part" "no wonder it bloody is sleeping around with married men when you have one of your own" "I don't know what to do" "well I do ****ing get out of here and stop reiuining my marraige."

*The day after (Wednesday)* "If Jayne finds out we are here she's going to kill us ... we said we wouldn't see each other again and she wouldn't tell Stephen" Chris said softly as he rolled Karen over on top of him under the soft silk cool duvet cover "I know ... I know but ..." "shhh ... you don't need to say no more I love you Karen Barber and nothing is going to stop or change that ... trust me we will still see each other and spend moments like this together ... we will just need to be very careful and try to keep this away for as long as we can" "I love you too." For the rest of that week Chris made a visit each night between 5-8pm to Karen's house to spend some romantic time with her while Jayne was out doing her things with her other friends and no one had clicked on to what they were up to yet.

*3 months later* Karen was making lunch with the music on quite loudish in the kitchen and Stephen was sat on the sofa wtching TV just then Karen's phone went off and there was a text from Chris so he opended it which read:can't wait to see what you're going to be wearing tonight sexy will pick you up round the coner at 7pm do you want to eat at the hotel? love you babe xxxx. Stephen was fuming she had told him she was going to a girly party with Jayne and a few other from work he started to go through all the other messages on her phone that were to and from Chris and there was quite a few and wished that he has nevered looked at them they made him feel sick inside.

Karen: I'm keeping the bed warm so come straight up when you get here xxxxx

Chris: Thank you last night was brilliant you are brilliant same time next week xxxxx

Chris: Booked hotel for next weekend me and you can't wait xxxxx

Karen: Went shopping today and brought you something very special will wear it on Sat night and if you can't wait that long then you will have to pop round during the week I'm sure can get rid of Stephen and the Kids. xxx

There was a long list of txts dated back 3 months and Stephen was furious he didnt know what to do.

For the rest of that day Stephen said no more and Karen didn't realise that he knew about what she had been up too. "I'm going now will being staying at Jayne's so don't wait up see you tomorrow ... bye" "bye" he replied with no effort at all as soon as Karen had gone Stephen picked up his phone and text Jayne: I'm coming to pick you up in half an hour will explain on the way. By 8pm Karen and Chris were sat down eating dinner in the restraunt at the hotel and Stephen had picked Jayne up "what's happened now?" "well my wife and your husband have planned and weekend away shagging each other and think we don't know anything about their dirty secret we are going to give them a little surpise" "how do you know?" "a text came through on Karens phone this morning from Chris saying can't wait to see what you're wearing tonight will pick you up round the corner at 7pm do you want dinner at the hotel? love you babe xxxxx. "That isnt the only text either you don't want to know what the others say so I think we need to pay a little vistit to the hotel book in at their room and wait there for them to come back" "oh my God really ... I can't beileve this I thought they had stopped seeing each other I trusted Karen I gave her another chance" "what ... what are you going on about?" "I thought she had told you ... I told her she had to tell you what had happened ... well I walked in on them about 3 months ago at the studios when you were away for the week Chris was on top of Karen and she had her arms wrapped around his neck kissing him" "I never found out about this one."

Jayne and Stephen had soon got to the hotel and checked in to Karen and Chris's room Stephen was even more furisous and began to slag Karen off as he paced up and down the room while Jayne just sat on the bed not knowing what to think "I can't believe that they booked the hotel as Mr Chris Dean and Mrs Karen Dean ... how dare she ... how bloody dare she"and continued to slag Karen off even more. After 20 minuets of ranting on he finally sat down on the bed next to Jayne and they spoke for a while until their other halves decided it was time to return "you know when I first met Karen she was such a loving, intellagent, thoughtful and quiet little thing ... butter wouldn't melt ... she was an absoulte angel ... you would have never thought she would have been the person to go off having affairs." They waited a while before Karen and chris had a arrived back and when they did arrive they were in for a very big unexpected surpise.

They came through the door very loved up his arms around Karen's waist ad she was kissing him passionatly at first neither noticed Jayne nor Stephen sitting on the edeg of the bed just staring at them very unimpressed "don't mind us" Jayne said saracastily, they both paused when they heard Jayne's voice his arms around Karens waist still and hers around his neck "and since when have you been Mrs Dean may I ask?" Stephen added on both Karen and Chris looked up at each other "and what gives you the right to let your self into our room and tell us what we can and can't do" Chris snapped back "the fact that I'm married to you and Stephen marrieds to Karen." ...
